Why a blog? I’m a chef so why not just stick to cooking? Well, food is my passion, but so is writing and reading. I am driven by curiosity, fun and by learning and growing. I read cookbooks like other people read the newspaper and my search history is full of recipes, ingredients, tools, methods and culture, all in relation to gastronomy. I never really see my friends without sharing a bit of food with them, might it be in a restaurant or in someones home. My work (link to website) consists of communicating, creating and serving food. All while living on one of the most beautiful islands in the mediterranean, Mallorca
So I thought; why not share this with other people who might have the same, or even just a fraction, of my culinary interest.
You might be coming to mallorca to visit and need some guidance or maybe you just want some inspiration from a different place. Unless you live here, and then I hope this blog can come in handy in all sorts of ways.

PS On my spare time I spend a lot of time in nature, sometimes under the surface of the Mediterranean Sea freediving or spearfishing, or on top of the waves on a board. Other times you’ll find me in the mountains hiking or in a field foraging. Art is my third passion and I’m sure this space will be one where the lines between art, nature and food will blur, hopefully in to something inspiring, fun and useful.
